Il prossimo 11 gennaio 2026, in tarda notte, saranno annunciati i vincitori dei Golden Globes 2026. Giunti all’83esima edizione e da molti definiti come “l’anticamera degli Oscar“, i premi celebrano i titoli e gli attori più apprezzati sia del cinema che della televisione dell’anno che sta per volgere al termine. Nella giornata di lunedì 8 dicembre, in diretta da Beverly Hills, gli attori Marlon Wayans e Skye P. Marshall hanno annunciato le candidature. Tra le 28 nomination totali, che includono la categoria cinema e quella tv, si aggiunge anche quella dedicata ai migliori podcast dell’anno.
Golden Globes Cinema, Una battaglia dopo l’altra fa il pieno di nominations
Il film che ha ricevuto più candidature quest’anno è stato Una battaglia dopo l’altra. La pellicola diretta da Paul Thomas Anderson agguanta le principali categorie e conquista ben 9 nomination. Tutti i suoi protagonisti principali sono candidati nelle sestine dedicate alle prove attoriali della sezione ‘comedy or musical’. Leonardo DiCaprio sfiderà Timothée Chalamet (entrato alla storia per essere l’interprete più giovane ad aver ricevuto cinque candidature) con Marty Supreme, George Clooney e Jesse Plemons. Chase Infiniti conquista la nomination nella categoria Miglior attrice in un film commedia o musicale. Sia Sean Penn che Benicio del Toro sono nominati nella sestina dedicata agli attori di supporto così come Teyana Taylor in quella femminile.
Sinners, l’horror diretto da Ryan Coogler, ottiene ben sette candidature. Michael B. Jordan è nominato come Miglior attore in un film drammatico grazie al doppio ruolo dei gemelli Smoke e Stack. Per Frankenstein di Guillermo del Toro ci sono cinque nomination tra quella per Jacob Elordi come Miglior attore non protagonista. Elordi raddoppia conquistando una candidatura anche nella sezione tv come Miglior attore in una miniserie o film tv per il suo ruolo in The Narrow Road to the Deep North.
Cinque nomination anche per Wicked: For Good. Il sequel viene “snobbato” come Miglior film commedia o musicale ma le sue protagoniste riescono a rientrare nel gruppo in gara per le migliori interpretazioni. Cynthia Erivo è nominata come Migliore attrice in un film commedia o musicale, Ariana Grande come Miglior attrice non protagonista. Di seguito tutte le categorie.
